Henry J. Bergman joined Moses & Singer after thirteen years as the partner in charge of real estate litigation at a prominent New York firm specializing in the representation of major real estate interests. Beyond this area of the law, he concentrates his practice in the fields of general civil trial and appellate litigation, construction law, real estate transactions, bankruptcy and art law.
Mr. Bergman acts as general counsel to several local and international enterprises and appears regularly before state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, arbitration panels and mediators on behalf of property owners and managers, tenants, developers, brokers, construction managers, contractors, lenders, investors, manufacturers, art dealers and insurers, among others. Mr. Bergman was an Assistant Corporation Counsel of the City of New York from 1978-1980 and serves on the boards of two not-for-profit organizations.
