Mark G. Lake had been a partner at Moses & Singer since 1967, before becoming of counsel in 2001. He has extensive experience in all aspects of secured lending, particularly in the securities industry, typically representing banking and other financial institutions, domestic and foreign. He has worked on many leveraged buyouts, structured and tax-exempt financings, debtor-in-possession financings, securitizations, syndicated loans, credit participations and asset-based facilities, including "safety net" financings for major clearing corporations. Additionally, he has represented banks in connection with broker/dealer clearance and settlement, securities lending agreements, repo programs and custody services, including the sale of a major custody business.
He has also represented entrepreneurs and investors in the sale and purchase of businesses and real estate, and has experience in the administration of trusts and estates.
