Alvin H. Schulman is a senior member of Moses & Singer and has been a partner in the firm since 1986. As counsel to high-net-worth individuals and their families, Mr. Schulman assists his clients in their familial, business, and philanthropic concerns. Mr. Schulman has substantial experience with respect to the transfer of intergenerational wealth, planning for business succession, as well as the use of the most appropriate tools to enhance wealth. Clients regularly consult with Mr. Schulman regarding complex family matters and intricate business issues to achieve the best possible results.
Mr. Schulman’s other practice areas include corporate and commercial law, not-for-profit entities, intellectual property, legal ethics and law firm practice, and matrimonial and family law. He is an officer and director of the Henry and Lucy Moses Fund, Inc.
Mr. Schulman is past Chair of two Committees of The Association of the Bar of The City of New York: The Committee on State Legislation and The Committee on Professional and Judicial Ethics. He also served for a number of years as a member of the Association’s Grievance Committee. He previously served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Edmund L. Palmieri, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
