Valeria M. Castanaro is an associate in the Litigation practice group at Moses & Singer. She joined the firm in 2010 after being a summer associate in 2008.
While in law school, Ms. Castanaro authored “It’s the Same Old Song: The Failure of the Originality Requirement in Musical Copyright” for Fordham’s Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal. She was also a member of the Board of Student Advisors and the Italian-American Law Students’ Association. Additionally, during law school Ms. Castanaro worked as an intern at Clausen Miller P.C.
Prior to joining Moses & Singer, Ms. Castanaro worked as an associate at the Law Offices of J.D. Geraigery, a boutique intellectual property law firm in New York. She also worked for the Justice Resource Center, an organization that creates and implements programs to encourage inner city high school and middle school students to consider careers in law enforcement.
