John Vincent Baranello

John Vincent Baranello joined Moses & Singer in 2009 as an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice. In 2008, he was a summer associate at the firm.

While in law school, Mr. Baranello interned at Deutsche Bank AG in their Litigation and Regulatory Group. Prior to that internship, he was Assistant to the Chief Deputy Clerk of the Richmond County Supreme Court.

During his last year in law school, Mr. Baranello was a member of the Rutgers Community Law Clinic where he assisted in a variety of matters, including negotiating performance and licensing agreements for a pop artist; assisting a well-known singer protect the use of her name; representing a client successfully in a guardianship proceeding; obtaining zoning rights for a recognized transitional living center for the homeless; and providing trademark and right of publicity advice for an internet-based clothing company.

Prior to entering law school, Mr. Baranello was the assistant director of the REACH program at Regis High School, an educational and leadership program that prepares students to earn admission to Regis, as well as other top Catholic high schools in New York City. He also directed an afterschool remediation and skills development project designed to assist freshmen and sophomores having difficulty in their academic work.
