Fabián Guevara joined Moses & Singer’s Banking and Finance practice as an associate in 2008. The focus of his practice is in secured and unsecured financing transactions, including syndicated loan transactions and letter of credit facilities. Mr. Guevara has experience representing domestic and international companies, banks, and other financial institutions in the area of secured lending with a focus on transportation finance. His experience includes transactions involving parties in various foreign jurisdictions, including Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Norway, Mexico, Liberia, Bermuda, The Bahamas and the Cayman Islands.
Prior to joining Moses & Singer, Mr. Guevara was an associate at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP, where he represented banks and other large financial institutions in financing transactions relating to the sale and purchase of residential mortgage loan portfolios and mortgage-related assets in the secondary market.
Mr. Guevara was an educator at the secondary school and college levels before he entered law school.
